1. Who runs this website

This website is run by the Umbrella Corporation player organization (“Umbrella”, “we”), a community of people who play the online game Star Citizen together. It is a non‑commercial fan site: it sells nothing, takes no payments and shows no advertising.

You can reach us with the contact form or on Discord.

2. A fictional corporation

The corporation this website describes, with its history, divisions, products, research, security service, people and charter, is fiction set in the game’s universe. It is not a real company. It makes, sells, researches and ships nothing in the real world, and any resemblance to a real organization is coincidental, apart from the trademarks named in section 6.

The corporation’s own dates, such as the page review dates and the Corporate charter, are given in the game’s calendar, which runs 930 years ahead of ours. The copyright notice and the legal pages, this one included, use the real‑world calendar.

3. No medical advice

Nothing on this website is medical advice. The medicines, therapies, treatments and research it describes are fictional and do not exist. Do not rely on anything here for a decision about your health or anyone else’s. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

4. No employment or contract

Words such as careers, recruitment, application, personnel and grade describe joining a gaming community. Joining Umbrella is voluntary and unpaid. It creates no employment, agency or other contractual relationship, and it gives no real‑world title, qualification or authority.

Umbrella never asks anyone for payment, valuables or login details. Applications are accepted only through this website.

5. Gameplay only

Escorts, security operations, the use of force, contamination response and every other activity described on this site take place inside Star Citizen. Nothing here describes, plans or encourages any activity in the real world.

6. Trademarks, copyright and images

Umbrella’s official statements are made only on this website and on the channels its administrators designate. What individual members say on Discord, in the game or anywhere else is their own view, not Umbrella’s.

This website and everything on it are provided as they are, without any warranty, express or implied, that they are accurate, complete, available or fit for any purpose. To the extent the law allows, Umbrella and its members accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website or from reliance on its content. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
