Umbrella Corporation is an interstellar pharmaceutical enterprise. Its principle is simple to state and hard to keep: humanity’s expansion into space must not outpace its ability to survive there.

Every colony, outpost, and crew that ventures beyond the settled systems carries risks no planet‑bound medicine was designed to answer. Umbrella exists to answer them.

Founding
Founded on Earth by physicians and research chemists.
They believed medicine should anticipate disease rather than react to it. When the first jump points opened, they recognized that colonists would face pathogens, radiation, and environmental stresses unlike anything in human history.
The frontier
Field clinics on the edge
of known space.
Rather than wait for those threats to reach the core worlds, Umbrella went to the frontier. Its early field clinics provided treatment to remote settlements in exchange for the right to study the biology of the worlds they called home.
That partnership became the company’s
foundation: care for the people
on the edge of known space,
and learn from the environments
that threaten them.
A century on
A network across human space.
Within a century, those frontier clinics grew into one of the largest medical suppliers in human space: a distribution network, remote laboratories, and a security service to protect them both.

Our commitment

Closing the distance.

As humanity reaches further into space, the distance between a colony and the help it needs grows with it. Umbrella intends to close that distance, in supply lines, in research, and in the security that protects them both.
